Zinc spray 98% is an acrylic zinc coating paint with a high zinc content (98%), creating a metallic coating highly resistant to corrosion caused by weather and salt. The zinc coating provides effective corrosion protection for various surfaces, including tanks, poles, welded joints, grilles, and carpentry. It is also suitable for use after threading, cutting, or welding to restore corrosion resistance. The spray can be painted over after the zinc layer is applied. A 400 ml can covers approximately 2 m², depending on the surface color, layer thickness, and number of applied coats.
The spray is applied in thin layers with multiple cross-coats, with a 3-5 minute interval between layers. For optimal application, the use of personal protective equipment such as goggles, a mask, and gloves is recommended. The spray should be stored in a dry place, protected from direct sunlight and heat sources, and used during the dry season in well-ventilated areas, shielded from wind.
The spray is heat-resistant up to 600°C, with layer thickness depending on the number of applied coats. Two layers provide a thickness of 25 microns, while four layers provide 60 microns. Drying times are: dust-resistant after 10 minutes, touch-dry after 20 minutes, and fully dry after 24 hours.
